Is anyone else out there glad it’s over? I feel like doing a cartwheel. I don’t mean this in a Scroogey kind of way. I LOVE Christmas! However, once it’s over and the family is happy with their gifts, (or at least seemingly happy), and the dinner turned out well, (in my opinion), I feel an intense sense of relief. I’ll miss you Christmas, but you’ll be here again before we know it.
Of course, there are always tiny things which could have been done better, but nothing so important as to ruin anyone’s feelings of happiness on Christmas day. Thankful, that is how I feel. Yes, thankful and content.
So now what’s next on my plate. New Year’s Eve is a comin, but as I’ve said before, I don’t feel any stress about that. I’m sure it’s because I’m not the one hosting the party. tee hee
The next big thing on my plate is my wedding. I’ve got about 3 months to tidy up the details, namely invitations, dresses and flowers. I think all else is done. Fortunately, we’re having a small, less formal wedding which makes for easier dress choices. I’ll let you know how it goes along the way.
The other, looming huge thing to take care of is my youngest’s college stuff. There are many details there to button up as well. Ugh…. Pray for me.
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday! Let me know what you cooked….turkey? chicken? prime rib? What’s your traditional holiday menu?
