Serenity now! Serenity now!
Who can guess what show had a character who would yell those words when life got stressful? Come on….this is an easy one. I’ll give you a hint. His last name rhymes with “Can’t stand ya.” Well, it more sounds like it than rhymes. Get back to me when you’ve got the answer. I know…I know…I’m really taxing your brain on a Friday. I apologize.
What a busy time for us right now. Hayley is going from school to school auditioning to hopefully belong to a well-respected theatre program. Go Hayleybaby!!! I’m trying to tidy up all of the details of my upcoming March wedding. Go me!!! And, during it all I’ve got to pack up a rather large condo for our move to my future hubby’s house. Very exciting and very stressful.
Can you only imagine how
much junk many beautiful treasures we’ve kept over the years? Some would call us pack rats collectors of fine things. (I barely wrote that one with a straight face.) It’s been three ladies living together for over eleven years now.
My girls have inherited my love of all things girly. Yes, anything with a sparkle or pink color still causes squeals. It’s beyond collecting girly things though. Both of my girls, but especially my firstborn Mariah, have sentimental attachments to things they’ve held onto for so many years. It was only just a few years ago that my now almost nineteen year old firstborn angel let me store her many stuffed animals whom she used to individually kiss goodnight each and every night. Now those friends are stored, waiting for her little girls someday.
We’re making it through though. “Be brutal! Get rid of things that aren’t being used. Donate donate donate!” That’s what I’ve been saying.
Now, if I can only follow my own advice.
Wish me luck.
